I really love crochet granny square blankets, (or afghan blankets as they also are called) and have two big ones at home that really makes me happy. I am also crocheting a babyblanket for our coming baby, 50 squares are finished, only 50 squares left... But it is 2 months until estimated birth, so I still have time ;)

Before I started on the blanket I was surfing the web for inspiration, and found a lot lovely blanket inspiration on Etsy. Striped ones, rainbow-colored, with triangles etc. I decided though to make a classic one myself, with different colors and black as a base. But I am very fond of all the ones above, and thinking about buying one also, so we have one for the bed and one to use in the stroller. ;) As it takes MANY hours to finish a blanket, I must say the prices on the ones I have found above are  REALLY  priceworthy!

I wish I lived in Finland

I think it is very hard to find simple but nice bed sheets. Especially that does not cost a fortune. But last day I found the finnish brand Anno. Love at first sight!! Exactly the type of sheets that I have been looking for so long. Simple and graphic, and also has a real good price! Those I must order straight ahead I thinked. But when I am going to the checkout to pay I realise they only ship within Finland... Si now I keep my fingers crossed that this brand soon will come to Sweden!!

Lovely lights

Love, love, love the string lights!! They would fit perfectly in our kitchen that is getting a little makeover at the moment. And the wall hanged lamp is also fantastic!

In a couple of weeks (5th august) I am turning 30 years. But no 30-year crise is coming as far as my eyes can see. ;) I think I have crised enough already in my life, and can really say that right now I feel calmer and happier than ever. And I think it will just be better and better from now! But more crises will of course come in the future. That is a part of life, and makes us grow. But at the moment I am pleased, and have nor time or lust for any crises ;)

Maybe I am to old to write wishlists. But to make it a little bit easier for my relatives, I have done a small list with lovely things that I have been longing for for a long time!

Ikea dollhouse furniture

Via blogger LittleHelsinki I found this real fun little news. Ikea is launching dollhouse furnitures in August! Small miniatures of some of their most iconic products. About a year ago I bought an old dollhouse, that has got a big makeover, new color both in and outside and different wallpapers. But there are some small details left to fix, and some furnitures that have to move in. Now I know where to find them, this small goodies will be so perfect!

Found a new shop, named Saturday. It is filled with graphic, happy and simple design. I like everything!

Love, love, love- Super(front)love!

I must show you this new company, SUPERFRONT, selling fronts, handles and legs for IKEA furnitures. It was love at first sight I can really say! The legs: WOW, the handles: WOW and the fronts: SUPERWOW. All the parts is simple but beautiful, exactly my style. I had already planned a visit to IKEA next week, buying BESTÅ furniture for my shop, and the thought was to buy simple plan white fronts from IKEAs own sortiment. But now I have certainly changed my mind, the harlequin fronts talked to my heart directly ;) So them it must be!

I think it is hard to find nice duvet covers for both audults and childrens that not ruins you. One that doesn`t is Finlayson, their sheets is both priceworthy and really pretty. The elephants is my favourite, simple, playful and classic pattern. Like a lot!

One of my favourite things at home is the old handmade print of a sailing ship, standing on the cabinet in our livingroom. A gift from my grandpa. I have always been drawn to ships and anchors, don`t really know why, but I am. And I have thought about an classic old school tattoo with an anchor for a long time. I like the style on the anchor on the poster above, with the banners and some text. But I think it is going to be a simple one, as on the last picture. When or if I do one.

Makes everywhere a little bit happier

I love all those paperdecorations that you can see everywhere. Garlands, patterned pennants, wordbanners pom poms etc. Makes every home a little bit happier. Hang it on the wall, in a tree, in the roof. For parties, weddings or just a regular monday. And the best of all, you pretty easy can make them yourself! You just need some fine papers and a bit creativity!
