As we written before we have closed down our webshop for a while, and instead working with designs for other companies. We can not tell which companies at the moment, but it is a lot of fun! (and when the jobs are done of course we will show you!) So Little Studio is still living, just in a different way, working undercover. ;) And finally we have our new website done! :) So if you have a moment left, check it out here.

My first own apartment (not the one on the pictures...)
When I was 17, I moved in to my first apartment, it had one small room and a small kitchen. I had purple wallpaper in the hallway, and modern grey striped walls in the living room. I had unfurtunately very limited budget to buy furniture and things for, but was lucky to take over friends and relatives things, as this time really modern "Benno" serie from IKEA in beech. It was an combinated bookshelve/Tv-bench and also matching table and desk. Then I decorated with mixed pillows, cosy blankets and mixed still life in the bookshelf, with new and old things. I liked my little home. And people on visit thought my home was "soo modern and light". Well, if you compare to the paralell trend with koboltblue and teracotta colored walls, with mid bind, I can agree with their comments ;)
My home is of course very different now from then. But I think that the keynote is the same. As to furnish with a small budget. And do the best of what you got. And the love for the fine stuff, form, material, colors, it is still my addicition. But sometimes it is complicated when you love crystal chandeliers as much as retroflowered walls and really pure design. It is a challenge to mix them together and find their right places. So you move around, and move around, from room to room, from shelve to shelve, and finally they use to find their perfect roomate and place.
And the above pictures? Well, It is a very goodlooking one room apartment from Alvhem mäkleri. :)

The best DIYs are the easy ones! I must try this at home, so fun! I would love to get these as a wedding gift. :) And of course you can decorate them to fit to any occassion! Maybe write the age of the birthday on them, or some small poem, or decorate them in some pretty graphic pattern!

An ocean of anemones and memories
To take photos, especially on people, makes me happy. I get high on endorfines. Can not stop. Just a few picture more. Just a little more. Almost like a drog. Furtunately an innocent one. To get the perfect picture is not the most important, it is the time behind the lense, the experience, that mattern most . And you learn by your mistakes, practice hopefully makes you better.
And the best part is the bonus. All the pictures. That makes you warm when you relive them. Life`s good moments, perpetuated and forever lasting. To draw out when ever you want.
I did that today. Draw out an sunny spring day, an ocean of wood anemones, just like that. Almost like magic.

The one who saves, hes got, a lot of stuff...
Some of the rejected ones...
I used to collect vases of glass. Or maybe collect is not the right description. I just could not resist the shiny colorful glasses going on fleamarkets, and suddenly I had severel dozens. One period I had them standing in a group on our bookcase, but I got tired of them, so the last years most of them has been hidden in a big cabinet. When we throwed this cabinet out yesterday (we are going to buy chest of drawers instead), I realized the unnecesssary to have all these vases just taking place. But I can not really just throw/give them away (who knows, I might want them again in a couple of years) so I carried them up to our attic, where houndredseventyeleven other "good to have some day" things already is stored.

Big stack defeated by white rack
Slutet gott, allting gott! :)
A couple of months ago I bought the clothes rack "MULIG" from IKEA. The thought was to get my clothes organized and have a better overview over them (my clothing has always an ability to become a big messy stack in my closet, and I get so tired have to dig to find anything). My partner was hesitant, did`nt think this rack would do any different, but I think I have surprised him a little, the rack is most of the time full and fairly in order! :) And the rack is really helpful in the morning when I will chose days outfit!

Showroom or playroom?
Here is the reality. Most of the time it is even worse. But hey, a room is for playing!
If you zoom in, the still life looks pretty good, don`t you think? :)
My kids has a lot of toys. Not in overflow, but still a lot of stuff, stuff that are plastic, ugly and maybe sometimes rubishy (but that my kids likes a lot). And you try to keep it organized, buying small boxes to store them, but it always end with a big mess anyway. Sometimes I try to assort their toys in still life on their shelves, but it will in a few minutes be but a memory, so I have gave it up.
But often I see those very inspiring pictures of childrens room. Not an ugly toy as far your eyes can see, not any Nalle puh teddy that glimmer, no Pet shop houses in shrill colors. Instead goodlooking stuff, organized to perfection everywhere. Rooms that really please my eye, but still make me wonder, where are all the ugly things? Are they hidden in boxes, or picked away for the picture, or is it simply that way that the children prefer knitted rabbits and metalrobots before uglytoys?

Something beautiful new in my view
Pictures: by me
I fell in love with the "Apple papple" print from Fine little day the first time I saw it a couple of years ago. And finally it has moved in in our home! I get happy every time I see it!
